Shakambhari Priyadarshini Sahu, a prolific writer, and storyteller, hails from the picturesque village of Buhailo in the Pattamundai block of Kendrapara district. Born with an innate passion for literature, she embarked on her educational journey at Padmalochan High School in her village, where she diligently completed her studies up to the tenth grade.
Her academic pursuits led her to Kendrapara Autonomous College, where she delved into the realm of commerce, earning a coveted Bachelor's degree. Subsequently, she further honed her skills by attaining a postgraduate degree in Finance from the prestigious Utkal University.
Shakambhari's literary journey took a significant turn during her formative years. With a fervent interest in literature, she immersed herself in the enchanting world of storytelling and narratives. Even during breaks from her studies, she engaged in spirited conversations and reveled in the joy of sharing stories with her siblings.
A notable moment in her literary endeavors occurred during her college days when she contributed an English poem to the college magazine, earning admiration and delight from her family. However, life's twists and turns led her away from writing until a turning point during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the midst of the global lockdown, Shakambhari found solace and inspiration to pen down her thoughts and experiences.
